Dais Platform
As the sole UX designer at DAIS at the time, I was tasked with designing an innovative new concept that would go on to become our flagship product. The project included information architecture, building the key flows, concept refining, and UI/UX designs. At its core, the tool was a submission management system that enabled underwriters and agents to work in a shared space.

This was a new concept, an original product idea. Therefore I was tasked with solving problems that were truly unsolved in the marketplace.

A key constraint to the design of the application was the varying level of usage the tool would have from its different users. On the carrier side, the users would access the application only when they received a new submission or submitted a quote, so the users could go a long time without using the application.

Key to the success of the product was designing an intuitive experience for the underwriters that could be jumped in and out of easily. To accomplish this I streamlined the experience to just focus on the submissions and introduced collaboration, so that discussion around a submission was contextual to the submissions.
The project successfully launched with our testing group and the research and feedback gathered on this MVP enabled us to refine further version of the application which are now available.
